What is City of Pompeii:
City of Pompeii was an ancient city in Italy. And was the most developed city at that time. Pompeii was 14 meter high from sea level and approximately 20 thousand peoples were living there. The history and most interesting part of Pompeii was , it was destroyed around 79 AD because of Volcanic eruption of Vesuivus mountain. And people did not move to their position from there. It was saying it happened in midnight Lava caught them while they were escaping towards Sea and they became Lava statue . Pompeii was believed to be most corrupted City at that time means corruption not in money corruption was in intercourse. When this city came into existence in late 1600 researchers found sex art on walls of home and a great swimming pool , same gender sex art and the destruction of Pompeii. It was underneath of 4 to 6 meter in Italy. It was ruling by Roman empire at that time and Romans were living there and researchers found Ancient Roman culture in Pompeii. When people were getting ill they were offering intercourse with their doctors instead of money. Although Pompeii was the most wealthy city on that period.
Was Lut from Pompeii?
Lut or Lot in Islam and Christianity respectively was a messenger and prophet from God. The narration was same in Bible and Quran that how Lut's city destroyed. In Quran when Lut's city was in corruption of Intercourse between same gender people and between same family members. Allah commanded Lut to leave his town with believers with the hand of his angels. But Lut's wife was also from those people , so she informed those people that some young and attractive men have come to her house and they can do sex with them . And this made Lut to leave his home with believers. And Allah started destruction on that city. In Quran it was being said that people got freeze and couldn't move from their place when destruction came to them and it is same thing in Pompeii. So it is acceptable by scholars of Islam and christianity.
There were some matching between Lut's city and Pompeii , so both are acceptable . Pompeii discovered in later 1600 and got UNESCO world heritage site in 1997. This was a combination between these historical and religious places and incidents.
