Patala

Patala is a word comes from Indian religions. It is a underneath realm of earth. Patala is said to be the most beautiful than Swarga . In Patala there are lakes of magic, seas, monsters, jewelries and demons etc. Patala is said as underworld in religions.


Hinduism:
In Hinduism World is in three forms , Swarga,Martya and Patala. And in Patala Demons and Monsters and mythical creatures of Hinduism are living. In Vishnu Purana when God Vishnu had sent Narada to Patala, Narada narrated that Patala is the most beautiful than Swarga and the earth. He told that in Patala sand is white and rivers and lakes are flowing in a very beautiful stream. A lots of jewelry and golds and many more attractive things are in Patala. And beautiful young and maiden demons are there. Sweet fragences in Patala's air. And Patala is divided into seven layers. Each layer consists of thousand yojanas. And Under Patala Narka is present. In these layers of Patala various kings and demon's offspring are ruling. Examples are Prahlada, Nagas and atlast Bali. Bali is said to be the sovereign ruler of Patala. And in the last layers Nagas are living . In the area of Nagas, there is no light but the Jewels in them make brightness inside it. Nagas are possess with a hood and each naga carries a jewel and they live in peace with the fear of Garuda. 
Buddhism:
In Buddhism there is not more about Patala. Buddhist monks believe that Asura and demons became monks when they knew about Buddhism. Just like Purana s in Hinduism , Bajrayana says that Patala is a place which is ruled by Nagas and Asuras. And after defeat to Vishnu they started living in Patala and also Naraka is present under Patala. It is being said that when an intelligent means Vidyadhara people goes to Patala, He gets chance to intercourse with non human women. There is nothing more about Patala in Buddhism.

Patala is a mythological place in both this religions.
