Polytheists believe that they get another life after death. They might be insect,birds,animals,reptiles etc. But few chances to get human life . They get human life according to their past deeds of life. Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism , jainism believe on rebirth . In Buddhism buddhist monks were believing on probable 7 births of Goutam Buddha. In Hinduism it is popular. Hindu peole are believing on carnation of God Bishnu in different ages(time periods). They believe that once in 8.4 million birth will get human life. Although they believe on so many Gods 33 million types and Goddess are out of numbers.
But in Monotheism(Jews,Christianity, Islam etc.) people believe in one life and after death God will take their souls. On judgement day God will awake them from their graves. In judgement day they will get their result what they had done in their life. They will go to heaven if they would have done good deeds, they will go to hell if they would have done sin.
In judgement day their soul will return to their bodies repectively and their body will be recovered like they were in past life.
So this was different believes between monotheism and polytheism .
Many people have claimed of rebirth cases ,especially in India.
