Yama

 Yama is god of Justice and direction and protector in Hinduism and Buddhism respectively. He is the mythological God in both this religion and has found a place in some other religions(Polytheism). 

Hinduism:

According to Hinduism He is son of  Sun God and Goddess Sandhya. His name basically means twin coz he has a twin sister. Apart from Yami(sister) he has step siblings and one own brother. He was the first mortal to be died by a carnation of God Shiva. And after that he was again got life . In Hinduism people say he is the king of Underground and he is the God of Justice. He is the punisher of bad souls. And after death all the soul goes to his abode for justice and in there he decides the past result of soul along with Chitragupta. He is in old texts like Rig Veda and in that it has been said that he has four arms.  He has his own vehicle mount as water buffalo or buffalo. In his kingdom after death his messengers take the soul from human body and presents in front of  him and bad soul will be tortured by his army in various and enormous punishments.

Buddhism:

 In Buddhist scriptures he is described as king of Dharma and King of Hell. Although there is no origin of Yama in Buddhism but older Buddhist monks were saying that after death he will ask some questions to soul and if that soul fails to answer him, then it will get furious punishments . And in Buddhism he has shown as terrible and a bad punisher.

In other religions:

In Chinese culture he is known as Yan means God of death.

In Tibetan culture he has shown as furious and horror that he controls the cycle of death.

In Greek mythology he is similar to Hades the God of Underground and in Roman myth he is as Pluto planet.

So many movies in Yama has been released in Bollywood and there were ancient temples of Yama in part of Afghanistan and was in India.
